Currently, her abstract pieces are experiments in new found mediums and finishes, in color, movement and mood. The only thing she is sure of is what size of canvas. After painting with pre-determined thoughts, she recently decided to see what can be created by only focusing on color. Then on shape or movement. Then finally (and ultimately) her mood (which can be volatile at best). Through this process, she has found that by knowing only the colors she is attracted to in the moment will define a piece, she has loosened up and brought a sense of enjoyment and a desire to creating back into her artistic world.
