Ode presents an evening of true stories, told live by real people. Happy hour starts at 5:30 p.m. outside, where you'll be able to order from one of the Food Truck Fridays vendors. Cash bar inside.

The show opens at 7 p.m. with music by Melanie Mergen. Our storytellers – Caroline Rivera, Jim Schaap, Francys Chavez, Patti Strong and Dwight Howe – will delve into why we tell stories whether it's for hope, healing, validation, our own sanity or social change.

The night of creative expression will continue with live music from ALIVE and Psychic Greetings. These two bands are part of the growing alternative music scene in Sioux City.
