The Reggie Schive Big Band was formed in July of 2010. It is named after Iowa Jazz legend and former Sioux City West band director, Reggie Schive. The band is made up of area band directors and musicians. This group has performed at the Morningside Jazz Festival and opened for Sherrie Maricle's Group "Five Play".
